Authentic Sicilian Experience

Doric Farm

In order to favor the philosophy of zero-mile products as much as possible, we have initiated the cultivation of almonds, pistachios, olive trees and a small vineyard on the land adjacent to the property. We also have, under license, the cultivation of prickly pears from the Valley of the Temples, used in the production of our bitters. We are renovating an old 19th-century house to hold picnics and cooking classes for our guests.

Our hotel is strategically located for those who want to explore not only the Valley of the Temples (the entrance is only 1.5 km away) but all that the city has to offer: we are 5 km from the historic center of Agrigento, 15 km from the marvelous Scala dei Turchi, 6 km from the Farm Cultural Park in Favara (the largest and most important outdoor contemporary art exhibition in Sicily), 15 km from the Arab-Baroque town of Naro and 30 km from the metaphysical theater of Andromeda.
